My latest fishing reports can be found here.
If you are interested in fishing Brevard County I am here to help. Here you will find fishing reports, tips, and how-to’s.
Brevard county offers plenty of fishing spots, from the Indian and Banana River to the Mosquito Lagoon, and the Atlantic Ocean with access via boat ramps in Port Canaveral, or the Canaveral Locks, or fishing from shore or any of the public piers located throughout the county. In addition to fishing there is crabbing for blue and stone crabs, and shrimping. Before you go wet a line anywhere, be sure you are up to date on the FWC Rules & Regs. You can also download and store this locally for access anytime using the Broken Lure app below.
A few of the fishing related apps I use on my iPhone are listed below.
Broken Lure – Florida Rules and Regs downloaded locally (accessible offshore), How to tie knots, weight estimator, find nearby bait shops, boat ramps, and fishing piers. $4.99
Buoy Data – Access nearby NOAA weather buoys and tide stations, save your favorites for easy access.
Weather Underground – Local weather conditions and radar.
Navionics US Marine & Lakes (iPad) ($49.99) Full charts for the US marine and lakes. Shows everything your chart plotter does. Great app if you don’t have a chart plotter on your boat and are in unfamiliar waters.
